Let's talk about money and where it has taken us from the beginning of mankind until the present.
Just what is money and how did it come to be what it is. Money (or currency) is basically a value placed upon an object or commodity used in controlling what occurs in transactions between party's for something of perceived value. The ability to obtain it and in what quantity depends on many factors (too many to list) but boils down a basic of where you stand in the chain of life and community. It goes from having absolutely nothing to being such a good accumulator that you have it all. In todays world (unfortunately) the accumulators are winning, keeping others from having any life at all. I don't believe that most people are truly lazy and don't want to work, but that's the way our society works. You either don't have it and have no way of obtaining it ( it;s called POVERTY), or you have it all and don't want anyone else to have it (it's called Affluence or Uber Rich). 98 % percent of this country can be counted as somewhere between the two, with the vast majority in the lower levels. Money is and always has been dominated and controlled by the Money Changers, But what is it , really? it's nothing more than a promise based today on nothing, zero, zip. He who controls the monetary system controls everything else. Do you really have a dollar, or do you have a piece of paper that you believe is a dollar, to spend as you wish? Our system is now controlled by greedy bankers, corrupt politicians, people who have already attained the status of super wealthy and are the only game in town. Now of course, this has been going on forever. But I think we have reached a point where it can't continue under the present system without collapsing. I have been saying for many years that all it will take is one major mistake or criminal act to upset the apple cart, and if you can't contemplate what that means to an average citizen, that means your dollars become pieces of paper that you burn for heat in the winter. When the grocery stores are cleaned out in one day, when no more is on the way. When you have no money for oil, because it is priced beyond what you can pay so the ultra-rich can have more, so you freeze to death. When you have no job and no money and no ability to pay anything, yet you have a family to feed, so you turn to your last resort, take it from someone who has it, because food is essential to life. When you have no clean water, because towns and cities services are shut down and the present politicians have allowed mining wastes and chemicals to be dumped into watersheds. I could list many more things, and I will as I think of them, but the jist of my post is that you as an average person control nothing. Sure, you feel you do, because that's what supports the system. But in reality, you don't. That's how they keep you in line, the fear of failing. It's all hot air held up in a balloon about to run out of gas needed to keep it airborne! Think about that for a while. May peace be with you! dennismoconnor.com Comments are closed.
