Senator Collins,
I know occasionally you go against the Republican establishment, and I sincerely hope this is one of those times. We have advanced so far in gay rights, equal rights for all, civil rights, that we cannot reverse course now! I implore you to look within yourself for decency towards your fellow citizens, because if you don't, you will help send America back to the stone age. I urge you to use the precedent set by Mitch McConnell with Merrick Garland and not allow a pick to the Supreme Court until after November 6th. Donald Trump is a traitor to this country and the world, and if you allow him to pick the next justice without regard for what it will do to this country, then you will lose what little respect I have for you. You should know by now, they will promise you anything and give you nothing for your vote. We do not need to go back to back-alley abortions where women have no rights and die because of it! Where gays must retreat to the shadows again. You are inviting civil war, because the people are awakened and will not stand for it. Thank you for listening.
