It seems to me we've been here before!
And it also seems to me we decided the fate of this nation at that time. But on that fact, I believe I am wrong. We thought we did, the same as we thought we conquered the Nazi's in 1945. But trust me, we didn't. We are in a civil war at the present, being carried out by the still vibrant generations of long past times that never seem to go away. We continue to question the existence and legitimacy of our fellow citizens simply by the tone of their skin color, that they may have been born with slightly higher amounts of pigment in their skin. Never mind that they may be brilliant, they're the wrong color to be so! What occurred in the past week is a stain on our civility that will never be erased. But do not feel it is the last, for this is just the culmination of 40 years of Republican cheating in the electoral process and programs and policies that favor the wealthy and highly connected people and the beginning of I believe months if not years of fighting in the streets. This is only the beginning unless we learn from Germany in the 30's and 40's. They must be stopped! These people will stop at nothing to bring about the return of Nazism, all the while destroying their own lives and many others in the process. We've seen this play before! Just remember, 74 million of your fellow citizens voted to return that cancer to the WH and they will not be silenced easily. Once the bear has been awakened, you will not get him back into hibernation until the next winter. In the meantime we must deal with him. Be prepared, because what I have feared for the past 40 years has arisen and it will not be pretty. People will die in the coming weeks and there is nothing we can do about it except try to keep it to a minimum. Your government is struggling, it is purposely hollowed out by complicit individuals and groups to allow the attempted takeover. I refer back to the Manchurian Candidate. Donald J. Trump is that candidate, and it came down to the Generals to stop him. Let us hope this is not one of those moments. As always, may you find peace in your corner of the world. dennismoconnor.com Comments are closed.
