I know occasionally you go against the Republican establishment, and I sincerely hope this is one of those times. We have advanced so far in gay rights, equal rights for all, civil rights, that we cannot reverse course now! I implore you to look within yourself for decency towards your fellow citizens, because if you don't, you will help send America back to the stone age. I urge you to use the precedent set by Mitch McConnell with Merrick Garland and not allow a pick to the Supreme Court until after November 6th. Donald Trump is a traitor to this country and the world, and if you allow him to pick the next justice without regard for what it will do to this country, then you will lose what little respect I have for you. You should know by now, they will promise you anything and give you nothing for your vote. We do not need to go back to back-alley abortions where women have no rights and die because of it! Where gays must retreat to the shadows again. You are inviting civil war, because the people are awakened and will not stand for it.
Thank you for listening.

Someone once said to me take all your "ism's" and shove them! Of course, I was offended, but not by him saying to shove them. I was offended by the fact that he was too stubborn to allow someone to express themselves.
In one way, he was right. I do live by many "ism's".
One is "Realism". Now realism can have many forms, I'm sure, but to me it means reality, the time and space you occupy at this moment! And the only way you change that is to make decisions. They can be haphazard, or they can be well thought out. The well thought out ones are the best!
Then we have "Idealism" Idealism can be good or bad, but it is based on a set of learned "ideals". What idealism means to me is that we are all taught a set of guidelines that are supposed to carry us through life. And many do. But the opposite side of the coin is "Ideology" or "Idolatry", which is where "Idealism" takes a dark turn. There are those among us, many. many, many among us, who will believe anything that fits their narrative. Too many these days are afraid to be independent of others "Ideals", to think what they really believe may not be true!
Then we have "Fatalism". "Fatalism" or a "Fatalist" is the belief that no matter what you do, everything is going to go wrong. I know, I used to be one, until I learn to be a realist.
Now, I know that barring any unforeseen circumstances, I control my life. I reason things out, does this make sense or not, and I make a decision.
So there, I have exorcised my "Ism's" and now I will go back to just being me!

A very interesting subject.
A very wealthy person who feels he should have it all and then some is a "job creator". Give money to the "job creators" and it will "Trickle Down into the Economy". Ronald Reagan, another actor who thought he knew how to run a government, Slashed the taxes on the wealthy. Did it trickle down? No , it trickled up.
Terminology can be a wonderful thing, when used properly, but if it's not, it hides dark secrets.
Take the word republican. I would imagine you would find it means "a person or part of a REPUBLIC". In order to be considered a republican would mean that you choose to be a part of a "Republic" and have a desire to help your neighbor.
I don't see that in any way, shape, or form in today's Republican Party. I see division, greed, hatred, treasonous activity. Why must it be this way? Because the Elite want you to think that all others beside you are evil and out to get your share of the pie. YOU DON'T HAVE A SHARE OF THE PIE!
Without your fellow Americans, we will no longer exist as a country. We will be a people that turn on ourselves, because with what I see today, we're very near that point.
Turn it around this November. Do research on your candidates before you vote for them. size up the person, not the Party! Do any of you remember what a "statesman" is? A "Statesman" is a person who can say what is needed, but say it in a way that leaves people wondering that I may need to look at this from a different angle. A "Statesman" at all times makes sure he is right in what he says. So I say again, when was the last time you saw a "Statesman" The Kennedy Brothers? Barack Hussein Obama? Bill Clinton?
It most certainly is not DJT or GWB. And I say this with no intentional bias, but the truth!
Dig deeper within yourselves, terminology matters!
Have a good day and may peace be with.
I've spent my entire life studying humans and their habits.
Humans are really rather frail as far as species go. Oh, we act tough, but most times it's really a show. I have found that most bullies are actually very insecure. I never realized that until I actually called a bullies bluff when I was 18. Scared the living crap out of him! Me, I didn't have time to think,I just acted. It was a very liberating experience.
Which brings me to what is running through my mind tonight, today's society. If people could just for a few moments in their lives put aside what makes us different, and concentrate on what makes us the same, what others good points are, maybe we will survive this nightmare.
No matter whether you are a Republican or Democrat, you are conditioned to believe in certain ways and act accordingly. You have been taught since birth to believe a certain way and act towards others in a certain way. That's very difficult to unlearn, but it can be done.
When you encounter a situation that bothers you, stop for one moment, clear your mind, and think through what makes sense!
You don't really hate people, you hate confronting your insecurities. it's so much easier to make what's causing your fears go away by being defensive, than it is to confront yourself.
Because if you did you might have to change, to become different, and that is very frightening. I know, because I have confronted the fears in my life, and I am much the better for it.
I know we are in the midst of this 45 thing, but imagine just for a moment that you were in his shoes .Don't get me wrong, I still despise him, and he still must be stopped, but here is a man who's grandfather was kicked out of Germany, went to Canada to run a brothel, his father was a slumlord who happened to make money in real estate, went to prison for fraud, and didn't care or know about teaching his son to be anything other than what he is. That's sad!
Doesn't excuse what he became, but that's what he learned.
Just try to look at people in a different way, for who they are, not what you think they are!
May peace be with you
